Bohème poets, curious wanderers and restless entrepreneurs gather for experimental tea at the Authors’ Lounge at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok. Awash in the glow of another era, this sunlit and colonial-style space is outlandishly romantic. A number of writers would frequent this space and notable ones include — Noël Coward, James Michener, Somerset Maugham and Joseph Conrad. These four were immortalised to represent each space with their heritage. It looks spectral, like a silent film rolling by.◼️
