In our troubled times, the general sense of escapism – both physical and mental – is what triggered Natacha Ramsay-Levi to create a collection inspired by a free-spirited inclusiveness.
Also plastered across the collection’s mood board were festivals. Back in April, she dressed Californian band, HAIM, for Coachella. Which proves, once again, that she is at ease being at the helm of a brand that mirrors what she loves and lives.
Ramsay-Levi indulged her passion and flamboyantly paid homage to artisanal clichés. The clothes had a modernist, hippie feel, that exuded an en plein air concert vibe. It mixed kurta tops, ceramic patterns and scarf prints with the flowing layers of pendant necklaces, sculptural earrings and cuffs. But what really got your attention were the textiles—lived-in, ombré, rug tapestries, like something from treasured hippie hand-me-down found in the attic.
The nouveau bohème vibe was then filtered in Grecian dresses with gemstones. Don any of these, and it would be quite impossible to go unnoticed. █
